Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy

Regenerative stem cell therapy is a revolutionary treatment that can help promote the healing of damaged joints and muscles. Stem cell therapy uses your body’s own growth factors to encourage regeneration, help restore proper range of motion, and reduce pain or discomfort. During stem cell treatment, mesenchymal stem cells are extracted from the layer of fat below your skin (known as adipose tissue). These stem cells are then purified and combined with platelet rich plasma (PRP) found in your blood. This mixture of stem cells and PRP is injected into the treatment area to promote healing. Regenerative Stem Cell Treatment

STEM CELL THERAPY FOR KNEES

Stem cell therapy can help repair knee joint damage without the need for extensive surgery. This innovative procedure combines your body’s mesenchymal stem cells with platelet rich plasma to form a mixture of healing growth factors. Unlike traditional knee replacement surgery, which typically results in lengthy procedure times and months of extensive recovery, stem cell knee repair is a minimally invasive treatment. Patients can typically resume most of their daily activities within days of undergoing stem cell knee repair. Learn more about stem cell knee injections by clicking on the button below!

STEM CELL THERAPY FOR HIPS

Stem cell treatment can repair damage to the hip joint using your body’s natural healing factors. Traditional hip surgeries focus on removing and replacing the hip joint with an artificial prosthesis; stem cell hip repair is designed to help regenerate the functionality of your natural hip joint through a combination of stem cell treatment and platelet rich plasma therapy. Stem cells are harvested from your body’s natural fat and mixed with PRP taken from a blood sample. This mixture is then injected into the hip to help reduce pain and restore proper range of motion. STEM CELL THERAPY FOR SHOULDERS

Stem cell treatment for the shoulders may be helpful for patients with joint pain or cartilage damage, as well as those suffering from shoulder bursitis, tendonitis, or arthritis. Stem cell shoulder repair focuses on promoting healing around the shoulder joint using your body’s natural growth factors. Mesenchymal stem cells are collected from your body’s fat tissue and combined with PRP taken from a blood sample. Your stem cells and PRP are then purified and mixed together to form a serum that is injected into the shoulder joint to promote regeneration and restoration. STEM CELL THERAPY FOR ELBOWS & HANDS

Regenerative stem cell therapy can target the elbows and hands to help relieve pain and promote healing. This revolutionary procedure combines stem cell treatment and platelet rich plasma therapy to help reduce inflammation and joint damage. Stem cell injections may also help alleviate the effects of arthritis, nerve pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Unlike traditional hand and elbow treatments, which typically involve invasive surgeries and extensive recovery times, stem cell therapy is minimally invasive; as a result, patients typically resume most of their daily activities within days of treatment. STEM CELL THERAPY FOR FEET & ANKLES

Stem cell therapy for the feet and ankles can help provide long-term relief by promoting healing around the affected area. Stem cell treatment may be beneficial for patients with tendon and ligament injuries, as well as degenerative diseases of the foot and ankle. During treatment, stem cells are taken from fat tissue and combined with platelet rich plasma to form a mixture that is injected into the foot or ankle. This mixture helps promote healing around the treatment area by encouraging your body’s natural growth factors. WHO WILL BE PERFORMING MY STEM CELL TREATMENTS?

Dr. Michael Seto will perform all regenerative stem cell treatments. Dr. Seto completed a microsurgery orthopedic fellowship in hand and upper extremity plastic surgery. He has advanced expertise in injecting all joints of the body with stem cell, PRP, and steroid treatments. Dr. Seto is also a board certified plastic surgeon.

WHAT TYPE OF STEM CELLS WILL BE USED?

We do not use any types of pre-processed or pre-packaged stem cells or growth factors. By definition, a stem cell treatment is indicative of a patient’s own tissue. Although stem cells can be obtained from bone marrow and blood, it has been scientifically proven that the greatest abundance of stem cells comes from adipose tissue (or fat).

HOW DO I GET STARTED WITH REGENERATIVE STEM CELL THERAPY?

Dr. Roger Bassin, his doctors, and staff at Bassin Center For Plastic Surgery would be happy to help you set up a private consultation to discuss stem cell therapy. You can give us a call at 877.333.3223 or schedule an appointment online for a consultation at one of our Florida locations: Melbourne, Orlando, Tampa, The Villages®.

**Dr. Bassin, together with Regeneris Medical, have teamed up to provide regenerative stem cell treatments for the repair and rejuvenation of arthritic and degenerative joint disease. In an effort to track patient data, and maintain compliance, all patients receiving any stem cell treatments are placed on our FDA registry. Patients who qualify may also be entered into our IRB approved study. What is an Institutional Review Board (IRB)? Under FDA regulations, an IRB is an appropriately constituted group that has been formally designated to review and monitor biomedical research involving human subjects. In accordance with FDA regulations, an IRB has the authority to approve or disapprove research. This group review serves an important role in the protection of the rights and welfare of human research subjects.
