Arm Lift Options To Improve Arm Contours!

POSTED ON MONDAY, JANUARY 08, 2018 AT 4:56 PM  by Dr. Roger Bassin

Your arms are among your most prominent features and, as a result, are often areas of concern for many patients. Over time, skin around the arms may begin to sag or droop due to the natural aging process or substantial weight loss. In addition to hanging skin, stubborn fat around the arms can take away from your natural musculature. Even with consistent dieting and exercise, those final layers of arm fat may prove difficult to remove.

At Bassin Center For Plastic Surgery, we provide arm lift surgery, arm liposuction, and minimally invasive arm lift techniques to improve arm contours. A surgical arm lift can re-drape or remove excess arm skin, while arm liposuction can remove small pockets of fat, resulting in slimmer, more toned arms. Additionally, BodyTite™ radio frequency skin tightening can firm loose arm skin and add natural-looking lift to the arms with less downtime than traditional arm lift surgery.

Arm Lift Surgery

An arm lift can create firmer-looking arms by surgically reducing drooping and sagging. Loose skin can be lifted and repositioned. If necessary, excess skin can be removed during your arm lift surgery. An arm lift can also eliminate “bat wings,” or hanging skin around the upper arms. Arm lift surgery may be especially effective for patients who have recently lost a substantial amount of weight and are bothered by lax skin.

Arm Liposuction

Arm liposuction can remove stubborn fat from your arms using the latest fat reduction techniques. During liposuction, a tiny cannula is inserted beneath the skin to gently extract excess fat from the arms. Laser liposuction can also stimulate collagen production below your skin, resulting in skin tightening benefits. Together, liposuction and arm lift surgery can restore youthful-looking arm contours.

The BodyTite™ Arm Lift

The BodyTite™ arm lift is an innovative radio frequency skin tightening technique that can firm loose arm skin and remove small amounts of unwanted arm fat in one procedure! BodyTite™ uses a tiny electrode and cannula that work together to deliver radio frequency energy below the skin. Heat from the BodyTite™ machine stimulates the production of subsurface collagen fibers, leading to enhancements in skin texture. BodyTite™ can also eliminate small pockets of stubborn fat, if necessary.
